Huggable Hearts is a special FREE service provided to families in New Zealand who are experiencing the loss of a baby or child. We make hearts out of minky, fleece and flannel fabrics or we can even use a blanket or item you provide, which are then filled with a lot of love and rice, to the weight of the precious angel gone too soon.
Miscarriage Support Auckland Inc. is a small independent group of women offering their acknowledgement, empathy, psychological peer support, information and practical suggestions to help women who have experienced both the birth and the death of their baby.

Victim Support provides a free 24 / 7 community response to help victims of serious crime and trauma. Our support helps victims find strength, hope and safety in the face of grief and trauma, at what might have suddenly become the worst time of their lives.

Wellington City Libraries offer a Housebound Service for Wellingtonians. It is for people who are permanently unable to get to a library themselves.
Housebound residents are interviewed in their home to establish eligibility and a reading profile. Selections are made by Central Library staff, and delivered by volunteers every six weeks.

ThroughBlue is a Wellington based support group for women who experience depression. The group is supported by two experienced counsellors.
Any woman is welcome to attend their regular meeting every Friday 12:30 - 2:30pm, in Willis Street, Wellington.

The Wellington Womens Boarding House is a Wellington based boarding house that provides low cost accommodation for single women on low incomes or in transition.
